Piping Lessons With a PRO!

This is an amazing opportunity to practice and perfect your piping with an expert!

We are offering a variety of lessons at different prices:

1 Hour Tuition – £38.50

Lessons will be held in our store Monday to Friday at 27 St.Mary's Street, Edinburgh.

Is it your first introductory lesson or can you play already?

First lesson:

• The lesson will be taken on a practice chanter, not a set of bagpipes. It takes a lot of practice to build up the basic technique on the practice chanter before progressing onto the bagpipes.

• We will cover as much of the basic technique of playing the practice chanter as time allows. This depends on how quickly you progress and the duration of the lesson you have chosen.

A practice chanter will need to be purchased for the lesson. Plastic chanters can be purchased on the day but, if you are looking to own one of our African Blackwood chanters, it will need to be ordered a minimum of 2 weeks in advance to allow us to make it.

• Bagpipes (if you have pipes)
• Maintenance items 
• MUSIC - please bring music you are currently working on, it will be helpful to reference to during the lesson.
