“Highland Bagpipe Makers - 2nd edition” is a groundbreaking exploration into bagpipe making history going as far back as the 1700s and it is packed full of information including old price lists, photos of old sets pipes and different makers through the years, a truly interesting read!
“More Highland Bagpipe Makers” has gone far deeper into the history of makers and is filled with extra information on makers that were in the 2nd edition. Additional makers have since been discovered due to more records becoming available since the release of the first book in 2011 and have been included in this book.
All the information in the second book is new and not a repeat in any way, it should be read in conjunction with the 2nd edition otherwise it may seem disjointed and confusing. Some information in this book corrects or backs up information from the 2nd edition so they are best read together!
